HeHz..we got our results!
Thankfully, Dearie managed to pass everything and I did better than expected.
It was about 10.30am in the morning yesterday when Dearie called and woke me up.
Having gone to bed late the night before, I was still in my 'Sleep Mode', hence I didn't really bother with the outstanding unread sms icon on my phone.
Dearie told me abt her grades and said she passed all her modules, which was a great relief to me.
I was afraid she would have to retake a module, something which neither of us would want.
Remembering that my results would be sent to me via sms, I put Dearie on hold and I read the sms. It was my results.
I couldn't believe my eyes.
Letting out a "WTF?!", I gasped and Dearie asked me what the matter was.
I told her I will call her back and immediately went to the computer for confirmation on my grades.
Staring at the monitor screen, I was unable to believe what I saw.
I rubbed my eyes TWICE and pinched myself just to make sure I wasn't sleeping.
I've actually gotten a GPA of 3.9565!!
3 Distinctions, 3 As and a B+...I was speechless.
I was only expecting 4 As and a GPA of 3.4 at most.
I rannnnnnnnnnn to the living room where my folks were and despite the amount of strangers there (my place undergoing renovation lah..alot of workers and kaypo aunties), I yelled out my grades.
LOL!!! I was too happy.
It's probably the 1st time I have gotten so many As in one attempt!
Dearie was happy for me and we met up for a little celebratory breakfast at MacDonald's, for her passing all modules like I wished for and for my grades.
I hope these grades continue to come for me and I hope that Dearie will get better grades soon.
For all of you out there, I hope you did well this semester and I hope for you to continue doing well.
For those who got less than expected, don't worry and don't give up. Continue working at it and I'm sure you'll get the grades you want.
