It ain't fun being sick

Been a while since I last blogged, and Dearie has been bugging me to blog today.
As the topic says, it ain't fun being sick.
I've been sick for quite a while now..started having breathing problems about 3 or 4 weeks ago, but brushed them off. Got really sick on friday and felt terrible for most of the weekend.
Though I was sick, I had some fun!
Yesterday, Dearie and her family (plus her extended family) invited me to go watch the NDP rehearsal with them. I was sick, so didn't feel like going. In the end, sorta got "forced" to go because Dearie kept persuading me to go. GRRRRRR..end up she brought a snappy croc out who "bit" her a couple of times. She appeased the monster with a large bottle of cough syrup and a Vicks Inhaler. Hahahaha..
In any case, I thought the NDP show sucked.
The programmes were damn boring and there were NO FIREWORKS.
Xia suay mans..tripod + camera all ready for trigger happy action, yet nothing to shoot.
Only thing worth watching was the marching and formations of the uniformed groups, and the 3G defence capabilities show.

Today, I went down to SLS with Miss Whitie to buy an external harddisk.
The 40GB harddisk I have is becoming sorely inadequate for my work and I needed a larger harddisk.
End up scouring SLS for the best deals and eventually settled for a Western Digital 160GB harddisk with a LaTeac casing (instead of the Cooler Master X craft or the Vantec Nexus like I wanted). Coughed up half my GST Offset package for the harddisk..feeling the pinch.
Bah, oh well, will have to start saving more money then.
Hope Dearie finishes her stuff early tomolo.
We've been having very little time together lately..
